Keywords and trends
Every note you write is read for its meaningful words, and those become keywords. There is nothing to tag and nothing to maintain — it happens as you write.
Over a few months this turns into something more useful than search: a plain view of the topics you keep returning to. Not an analysis of you, and not a judgement about anything. Just a count of the words you have been writing.
This stays private to you. Your keywords are never shown to anyone else, never combined with anybody else's, and never used to work out anything about you. 100% private. Your notes are secure, and only ever seen by you.

How to use it
Write as normal
Keywords are picked out on their own as each note is saved. Nothing to do.
Different forms of a word count as one
"Mercy", "mercies" and "Mercy" all count towards the same topic rather than appearing as three near-identical entries. Ordinary words — "and", "which", "would" — are ignored, as are the words that turn up in almost every note and so tell you nothing.
Look at what has been on your mind
The trending list on the Impressions tab shows your most frequent topics over a recent window. It changes slowly, which is rather the point.
Tap a topic to read it back
Any keyword opens everything you have written on it, oldest to newest — often a more interesting read than any single note.
